This Privacy Policy explains what information Rox Creative Group Inc. collects when you use the Rox Designer Suite (the "Suite" or "App") and our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Suite or our website, you agree to this Policy.
1.Overview
The Rox Designer Suite is a desktop application for designing plugin and interface graphics. You can download and use it for free; certain features (such as exporting) are unlocked with a one-time Pro purchase. Using the Suite requires an account so we can verify your purchase and keep your license tied to you. This Policy covers the data involved in all of that.
2.Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a username, and we store your password in a securely hashed form (we never see your actual password). Your email is used to verify your account and, if you purchase Pro, to confirm your license.
Purchase & license information
When you buy a Pro license, your payment is processed by our store and payment provider. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email associated with it so we can activate your license. We do not collect or store your full payment card details — those are handled by the payment provider.
Community content
If you choose to share presets, themes, or other content within the Suite's community features, the username you selected may be shown alongside that content to attribute it to you.
Communications
If you contact us for support or reply to our emails, we keep those messages and your contact details so we can help you and keep a record of the conversation.
Information collected automatically
When you use our website or the App's online features, we may automatically receive basic technical information such as your device type, app version, and general log data. Our website may use cookies and analytics to understand how it is used and to keep it working properly.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and manage your account and verify your email;
- confirm your Pro purchase and keep your license valid;
- provide, maintain, and improve the Suite and our website;
- respond to your support requests;
- send you important service messages (for example, license or account notices); and
- send product news and marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.
4.How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. We use trusted third parties to run parts of our service — for example, to handle account sign-in and data storage, process payments, and send email. They may only process your data to provide those services to us.
- Community features. If you share content through the Suite, your username is shown with it, as described above.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Rox is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5.Marketing Emails & Your Choices
If we send you marketing or product-update emails, every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send you essential service messages about your account, license, or purchases.
6.Cookies & Website Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function and, where enabled, to measure traffic and improve the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the website works. The App itself does not rely on advertising cookies.
7.Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including storing passwords in hashed form and relying on reputable providers for authentication and payments. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Data Retention
We keep your account and license information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Suite, support you, and meet our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account, after which we will remove or anonymize your personal information except where we are required to keep it.
9.Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to certain uses. You can exercise these rights, or update your account details directly, by using the account settings in the App or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
10.Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access to or deletion of your personal information, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
11.Children's Privacy
The Suite is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12.International Users
We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Suite, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations that may have different data-protection laws than your own.
13.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Suite after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
